This walking stick is hand carved from solid Mahogany wood. Below the grip, there is a figure of a heron with a fish in it's beak and lower down the head of an African man. It is carved from the Mahogany wood's core, which is the hardest part of the wood and it requires very strong hands and a lot of patience to carve a piece like this. It normally takes the carver 4-5 days to complete a piece like this. It is a beautiful piece of art.

Ebony wood is one of the hardest woods in the World, and this piece will last generations, whether it be used for it's purpose, or just as a display item.
